Trip Details

Mustang, formerly Kingdom of Lo, is a remote and isolated region of the Nepalese Himalayas. The Upper pony was a restricted demilitarized space till 1992 that makes it one of the foremost preserved regions within the world, with a majority of the population still speaking traditional Tibetic languages. Tibetan culture has been preserved by the relative isolation of the region from the outside world.The Upper pony comprise the northern simple fraction of pony District of Dhawalagiri Zone, Nepal. The southern third of the district is called Thak and is that the country of the Thakali, who speak the Thakali language, and whose culture combines Tibetan and Nepalese elements. Life in Mustang revolves around business, animal husbandry and trade.

The main hydrographic feature of pony is that the Gandaki watercourse. The river runs southward towards Asian country Terai, bisecting Mustang. Routes paralleling the river once served as a major trade route between Asian nation and Bharat, especially for salt. Part of the watercourse natural depression within the southern pony District forms the Kali Gandaki Gorge, by some measures the deepest gorge in the world.

Traditional pony (the Lo Kingdom) is fifty three kilometer north–south at its longest, 60 kilometer east–west at its widest and ranges from a low purpose of two,750 m above ocean level on the Kali Gandaki watercourse simply north of Kagbeni to six,700 m at Khamjung Himal, a peak in southeast Mustang.

Route : Kathmandu - Chit Wan - Pokhara - Tatopani - Marpha - Jomsom - Kagbeni- Muktinath - Kalopani-Tatopani - Pokhara - Kathmandu.

Itinerary

  • Day 01 – Arrive at Kathmandu

    Today you will arrive at Kathmandu and meet your tour representative and get your permit done.

    Head out for an exploration around Kathmandu and learn about the culture of this region.

  • Day 02 – Kathmandu Sightseeing

    Bike trial sightseeing in Kathmandu city. Visit some of the places like Swayambhunath, Durbar Marg and Pashupatinath.

    Stay overnight at a hotel in Kathmandu.

  • Day 03 – Kathmandu - Chit wan

    Start riding up to Chit wan National Park for around 3.5 hours and reach your hotel.

    Head out for a jungle safari the evening and witness the exotic wildlife of this region.

    Stay overnight stay at Chitwan.

  • Day 04 – Chit wan - Pokhara

    Start your day with a mouthwatering breakfast and start your thrilling ride alongside the Trishuli River

    The sharp hairpins will test you every time but as you keep riding you will be able to conquer them.

    Keep riding through the major highways in Nepal and reach Pokhara.

    Once at Pokhara, you can spend some time by the Lakeside near your hotel.

    Stay overnight at the hotel in Pokhara.

  • Day 05 – Pokhara to Tatopani (125 Km, 4.5 hrs)

    Head out for a scenic ride today which included the road between Pokhara to Beni.

    Marvel at the sight of the famous Machhapuchhre mountain and also the Annapurna region mountain.

    Continue riding and you will come across the beautiful waterfalls on the way.

    Once you reach Beni you will take an offroad which gives you the first glimpse Himalayan road.

    Ride alongside the Kaligandaki River.

    You will ride for 25 km from Beni to Tatopani and enjoy the spectacular view of the region.

    Reach Tatopani and there check into your hotel for the night.

    Stay overnight at the hotel.

  • Day 06 – Tatopani to Marpha

    Commence ou ride through the roads and slowly you will see the change of nature in the high altitude.

    Ride through the Sub Tropical forest and Alpine forests.

    Continue riding through the lush green forest and with lots of grey colour mountains.

    Overnight stay at Marpha.

  • Day 07 – Marpha - Jomsom - Kagbeni

    Your today's ride is said to be one of the most beautiful rides from your entire trip.

    Start riding through the Kaligandaki river and soak in the mesmerizing surroundings.

    Visit some of the ancient Tibetan Buddhist villages like Kagbeni, Eklaibatti and Jharkot.

  • Day 08 – Kagbeni - Muktinath - Kalopani

    You will arrive at Muktinath by evening and there you can visit the Muktinath Temple which holds importance for both Buddhists and Hindus.

    Today you will ride down from Muktinath to Tato Pani and enjoy the same scenic road with beautiful surroundings.

    Stay overnight at the hotel at Kalopani.

  • Day 09 – Kalopani - Tatopani

    Your ride will take around 6-7 hours as you will be mostly riding downhill.

    Reach Totapani and check into your hotel for the night.

    Stay overnight at the hotel at Tatopani.

  • Day 10 – Tatopani - Pokhara

    Today you will ride back on the same spectacular road till Pokhara.

    Reach Pokhara and spend some refreshing time at the lake side.

    You can also head out to Phewa Lake in Pokhara known for its natural beauty.

    Enjoy boating our just roam around and relax in a lake side pub.

    Stay overnight at your hotel in Pokhara.

  • Day 11 – Pokhara - Kathmandu

    If you are riding in your own bike then you will start your day at around 10:00 AM.

    Enjoy your breakfast and head out for some jungle activities.

    Start riding to Kathmandu which will take around 5 hours,

    Stay overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu.

  • Day 12 – Kathmandu

    Leisure day(Backup Day) in Kathmandu.

  • Day 13 – Kathmandu

    End of tour.Fly back to home town.

Cancellation Policy

  • If cancellations are made 30 days before the start date of the trip, 25% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellations are made 15-30 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be cancelled and in such cases the operator will try his best to provide an alternate feasible activity. However no refund will be provided for the same.
