Day 1- Arrival at Hyderabad

Hyderabad- ‘The City of Nizams’ is one of the best examples of a perfect amalgamation of both the past and the present. This is the best way to start the trip for Hyderabad is also the capital of the newly formed state of Telangana. All the roads and spots are easily accessible from here. On this road trip in Telangana, we are going to see all of its beauty in both its old structures and as well as its modern amenities. Come on, let us explore the beautiful sights to see.

Day 2- Explore Hyderabad (50km)

On the second day of the beautiful road trip in Telangana, we are going to see the real beauty of Hyderabad. Come on, let’s get started! The monolith of the Buddha Statue in Hyderabad is one of the finest sights to see. It also happens to be the largest statue of Buddha in India. Birla science museum is one of the interesting things to check out in Hyderabad. You need to explore it thoroughly for there are a lot of spots inside.

A planetarium, gallery, and even a science center can be found inside. Hussain Sagar is one of the prettiest lakes in India. It also happens to be in the beautiful shape of a heart. The Buddha Statue that we mentioned earlier is placed in the middle of the lake. Charminar is built entirely out of limestone and granite, with four minarets on four sides. It is the hub of all the shopping centers in Hyderabad and is a sight that should not be missed.

Sanghi Temple is a temple located on the outskirts of the city. The complex is located on the top of Paramanand Giri hill, which attracts several devotees. Golkonda fort is one of the most important forts when it comes to Indian history. Did you know there were diamond mines here once upon a time? Get to know all about the wonders on this road trip in Telangana.

Day 3- Explore Ramoji Film City (75Km)

Do you love Bollywood? Do you live and breathe Indian movie stars and their actings? Let us head over to Ramoji Film City that also happens to be our next destination on this road trip in Telangana. It even holds a Guinness Book of World Records. Various films have been shooted here. Ramoji Film City is a fun and diverse venue where you can indulge in several activities ranging from film city tours to adventure sports and toy train rides to many gardens. The city is set just 75 kilometers away from Hyderabad.

Day 4- Drive to Bhongir fort – Nagarjuna sagar &Halt (190Km)

The Bhongir fort in the Nalgonda district of Telangana is one such structure. It is a massive impregnable structure erected by the Chalukya ruler. It also offers an adventure activities like Rock climbing and Rappelling. This is one of the major beautiful spots we are going to check out on our trip to Telangana.

From Bhongir Fort we take a mesmerizing 190-kilometer drive to the Nagarjuna Sagar Dam on this road trip in Telangana. Nagarjuna Sagar Dam is located in Guntur District.

Day 5- Drive to Badhrachalam, explore & halt(280Km)

Next on our road trip in Telangana, we are going to check out one of the best pilgrimage sites of the Hindus. The foundation of Bhadrachalam was laid back during the 27th century. But, now, we get to see the beautiful ruins. We are going to check out all the attractions and call it a day here at Bhadrachalam.

Day 6- Badhrachalam-Bogatha falls – Warangal Halt(260Km)

Next on our road trip in Telangana, we will be traveling from Badhrachalam to Bogatha falls. This beautiful waterfall is located within a dense forest. Plunging from a height of almost 30 meters the falls has a pool below consisting of some crystal clear water.

We will be heading towards Warangal from Bogatha Falls now.

Day 7- Explore Warangal (160Km)

Home to some of the majestic families of South India- Warangal is an immensely pretty spot on our road trip in Telangana. We will be looking around Warangal for a bit. Ramappa temple is a bit away from the city limits. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, the temple is believed to have been constructed for over 40 years. It was built by General Recherla Rudra during the period of the Kakatiya ruler Ganapati Deva. Next, we will head towards the Thousand Pillars. As the name suggests, the temple has over one thousand pillars, some of which are a part or extension of adjacent pillars! These pillars are very tightly knit. Warangal fort is one of the exclusive icons of Telangana. Locals believe the city was built on a single rock in the medieval era. Kakatiya musical garden is quite an alluring Musical garden in the city of Warangal. A mammoth rock and an artificial waterfall in the rock structure are placed as the background of Kakatiya Musical Garden.

Day 8- Drive to Nagunur fort – Sri raja Rajeshwari temple & halt at Jagital( 180Km)

Next on this road trip in Telangana, we will head towards the mesmerizing Nagunur Fort. There are still the remains of a lot of temples inside the ruins of the fort. You can tell by the design that they had been built a long time ago- during the rule of the Kalyani, Chalukyas, and Kakatiyas. Sri Raja Rajeshwari Temple is our next halt. Devi Maa is the presiding deity of this gorgeous temple. Jagtial is the spot we are halting at for the night. The icon of this place is the Jagtial Fort. We will be spending the night here.

Day 9- Drive to Adilabad – Halt at Basara(290Km)

Next on this road trip in Telangana, we will be making our way to Adilabad. It is famous for the beautiful Kuntala waterfalls located amidst lush forests. If you love nature, you should check out the beautiful waterfalls. We shall be taking a break at Basara.

Day 10- Basara temple-Nizamabad – halt at Medak( 165km)

The main attraction of Basara on this road trip in Telangana happens to be the Basara Temple. This temple is an abode of Goddess Saraswathi, Goddess Lakshmi and Kali considered as the Holy Trinity.

Nizamabad is derived from Nizam and Abad meaning “The Nizam of Hyderabad” and “Long Live” respectively. A place that is both historic as well as naturally beautiful is sure to pull at our heart-strings! Nizamabad Fort is an object of alluring beauty. It is one of those rare forts in Telanagana that is immensely majestic and reeks of royalty. Dichpally Ramalayam is a Lord Rama temple located in Nizamabad, Telangana built in the 14th century by Kakatiya kings.

Day 11- Explore medak & Halt at anantagiri hills(170km)

Now, we are currently in Medak on this road trip in Telangana. The first thing to see here other than the scenic natural beauty is the Medak Fort. If you are into architectural beauty- this place will stand out to be of immense charm. It also happens to be the prime attraction of Medak. Pocharam dam is another example of grand beauty. With the reservoir filled with water- this is a sight to be cherished.

Day 12- Ananthagiri

We are going to explore the very popular South Indian trekker’s paradise on this very road trip in Telangana. Yes! We are finally at Ananthagiri- the place filled with adventure activities and fun. Ananthagiri is a hill town of ancient caves, temples, and medieval fort palaces.

There are a lot of camping sites here where you can camp under the starry sky. The Kotapally Reservoir provides some kayaking options too that you can try out.

Day 13- Drive to chilkur balaji temple – gandipet – Airport( 100Km)

Chilkur Balaji Temple is one of the pretty temples of Telangana. It is also called the VISA Temple and sits prettily on the banks of the Osman Sagar Lake. Gandipet is famous for the Osman Sagar Lake and has some of the most panoramic views of islands too. This is the last stop on our road trip to Telanagana, after which we will drive to the airport.

Cancellation Policy

  • If cancellations are made 30 days before the start date of the trip, 25% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellations are made 15-30 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be cancelled and in such cases, the operator will try his best to provide an alternate feasible activity. However, no refund will be provided for the same.
