Overview
The Katabettu Peak is in the Nilgiri District’s Kotagiri. About 8 kilometres separate it from Kotagiri. There will be a level, rocky terrain area at the peak’s summit. It offers a beautiful perspective of the whole Western Ghats.
Despite the dam being in Kotagiri, Coonoor offers easier access. The serene waters of the Ralliah Dam, the town’s main water source, by taking a short stroll through a copse. While looking for solitude, the dam, which was constructed in 1941, is a great place to go. There is a little tribe settlement that can approach by strolling down the bank.
