Overview
This mountain, also known as Hullikal Drug, can be seen on the left side of the road leading from Mettupalayam to Coonoor. The ruins of the old fort Tipu Sultan used in the 16th century, known as Droog fort, may be found on the mountain’s summit. It is located at an elevation of more than 1900 metres and is home to tea estates including Glendale and Nonsuch.
